Pasture to Plate

Our Mission

Through using the best Angus genetics we strive to provide our customers the best eating experience possible by focusing on marbling, flavor, and tenderness.

Who We Are

Hazy Hollow Farm was purchased in 2012 with the hopes of making it a working cattle farm. It is located in Head Waters, which is situated in the mountains of Highland County, Virginia. Casey has farmed throughout his whole life, operating a commercial cow/calf herd. In 2019 we started to develop a registered Angus herd. We practice humane treatment of the cattle and provide open pasture grazing year round.

What We Do

We incorporate artificial insemination and embryo transplant techniques to build a strong base of Angus genetics into our herd. Our Angus cattle are DNA tested so we can use those animals with the best carcass values to be able to extend to you the best eating experience possible. Through using the tools and resources provided by the American Angus Association we are enabled to give you the perfect amount of marbling for Prime Cuts. Through open pasture grazing and by finishing the beef on grass we can also provide the best flavor and tenderness in the meat to enrich your eating experience.
